Objective of Jeevan Janani Yojana:
The main objective of the Madhya Pradesh government to launch the Chief Minister Jeevan Janani Yojana is to provide financial assistance of Rs 4000 per month to the pregnant women of the state and to safeguard the health of their unborn children.
This can improve the nutrition of women and children. Because of poor economic status, pregnant women are not getting proper nutrition, so both mother and child become weak due to lack of
nutrition. Also, the child becomes a victim of malnutrition. But now this will not happen because Madhya Pradesh government is giving 4000 free medicines to pregnant women every month and free medicines to women during pregnancy.
How to get Rs 4000 per month in the scheme?
Under Chief Minister Jeevan Janani Yojana, financial security of Rs 4000 per month will be provided to pregnant women. This financial assistance amount will be sent directly to the pregnant woman’s bank account through DBT. To avail this Madhya Pradesh scheme, pregnant women must register themselves first.
Only then will they be given Rs 4000 per month under this scheme, so that the women can use this amount to get nutritious food for themselves and their children. The benefit of Chief Minister Jeevan Janani Yojana will be given only to pregnant women whose husbands do not pay income tax.
