Gram Panchayat Development Officer (PDO) : Candidates applying for this post must have passed graduation from any university.
Second Grade Assistant (SDA) : Candidates applying for this post should have passed in Second PUC from any recognized board.
Secretary Grade 1 : Candidates applying for this post should have passed Secondary PUC from any recognized board.
Secretary Grade 2 : Candidates applying for this post should have passed Secondary PUC from any recognized board.
Selection Method:
There is also a compulsory competitive written test for all the posts for the recruitment of vacant posts in the Gram Panchayats of the State of Karnataka.
Proposal before Finance Department:
CM Basavaraj Bommai said that the Finance Department has given the authority to provide services to more than 30 departments and requested permission to fill 326 posts of Gram Panchayat Development Officers.
Secretary Posts Details:
487 Secretary Grade 1 posts will be filled up through direct recruitment and promotion.
556 Secretary Grade 2 Posts are vacant. Out of these 343 posts will be filled through direct recruitment. The CM has assured that the remaining posts will be filled by promoting the existing staff.
Details of SDA Posts:
A total of 625 second grade posts are vacant in Gram Panchayats. Out of these 124 posts will be filled through direct recruitment. The CM informed that 90% of the posts will be filled within the next four months. Job aspirants are ready for the exam in direct recruitment process for Gram Panchayat Development Officer (PDO), Second Grade Assistant (SDA), Secretary Grade 1, Secretary Grade 2 Posts. So the aspirants of these jobs need to prepare for the competitive exam from today.
