PM Scholarship Scheme (PMSS) 2023-24: Eligibility, Rewards, Application Form & Last Date
Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi had launched a scheme with the name of the PM Scholarship Scheme 2022. The main aim of these different scholarships is to link particular sectors of our society through Education + Literacy = Growth. This is the concept on which PM Scholarship (PMSS) is working emphasizing the education of the students from level 12 to doctorate level. These schemes have also lower down the rates of dropout at the undergraduate and afterward. Basically, the scholarship is to provide educational help to the wards of ex-servicemen. Through the scheme, the selected students will get a certain amount to pursue their Higher Education.
PM Scholarship Scheme 2022 Details
Our Honorable PM Modi Ji announced many PM Scholarship Scheme (PMSS 2022) for the welfare of Indian Citizens. Many endowments come under Prime Minister (PM) Scholarship Scheme which are–
- PM Scholarship for PhD
- Scholarship Scheme by PM for 12th pass students.
- PM Scholarship for engineering students.
- PM Scholarship for 10th passed out students
But The famous scheme is Pradhan Mantri Yojana, Modi Scholarship (PMSS). However, by this scholarship scheme financial help will be given to 82 thousand students which will divide equally among 41 thousand boys and 41 thousand girl students. Successful students will be awarded scholarships every year among students across the country.
How to Apply for PM Modi Scholarship 2022?

- For new user, registration
- Fill in all the details mentioned in the form
- Upload the photo of the applicant only IN JPEG/ JPG/ GIF or PNG format.
- At the end fill the captcha
- After filling in the required details click Submit.
For Old User (PMSS Renewal)
- Log in with your username or password you have created (PMSS Login)
- Complete the application process to apply for the scholarship
- A scanned copy of all required documents has to be uploaded.
- Submit the application form.
Who is Eligible for Prime Minister (PM Modi) Scholarship 2022?
PM Scholarship is offered at different levels especially focusing on the PM scholarship for 12th passed students. Whether you are applying for PM Scholarship for Ph.D. or PM scholarship class 10th students or a PM Scholarship for engineering students, you have to follow certain eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria mentioned is for Pradhan Mantri (PM Modi Scholarship) Yojana 2021.
- Candidates whose age is in between 18 to 25 years.
- Any student whose family annual income is not more than Rs 6 lakh.
- Any student who has taken admission to any technical or professional Diploma/ Graduation course in the year 2022.
- a student who is studying any of the below courses from a recognized Govt. regulatory body.
- Any student who has passed class 12th / Graduation or any Diploma course with minimum or above 60% marks.
- Any student who is a dependent ward or a widow of Ex-Servicemen(www.desw.gov.in scholarship for 10th & 12th Students by modi) and Ex-Coast Guard personnel who died in harness or got disabled during coast guard service or military service.
- A student who is not a civilian or an award of Para Military Personnel.
- Any student who is not getting any wage for a professional degree course.
- Any student who is pursuing studies through only a regular, not a distance learning course.
Note: Students can apply for this scholarship just for one course. If they apply for scholarships in more than one course the application will be considered invalid
PM Scholarship Scheme (PMSS) 2022 Rewards
- The students will be awarded scholarships through Direct Benefits Transfer (DBT) and Aadhar
Payment Bridge to transfer the money directly into the student’s bank account. - Total of 5,500 students are awarded annually under PMSS 2022 scheme.
- The students will get benefits of INR 2,500 per month for the boys and INR 3000 per month for
the girls.

PM Scholarship Scheme 2022 Selection Procedure
- Children, Widows of Ex-Serviceman, Coast Guard who are killed in action.
- Children, Widows of Ex-Serviceman, Coast Guard who got disabled in action.
- Widows, Children of Ex-Serviceman, Coast Guard who had died during service for Military or Coast Guard service.
- Children of Coast Guard who got disabled in army service or Coast Guard service.
- Widows and Children of Ex-Serviceman, Coast Guard who is the recipient of gallantry awards, irrespective of the rank. 4
