Land Ownership Scheme:
Women in the family of landless agricultural laborer’s will be registered with at least 2 acres of Khushki or 1 acre of tari or at least 1/2 acre (20 gunte) and land available for unit cost.
Features:
- Land will be purchased and given to landless agricultural women by sanctioning subsidy and loans from the Corporation.
- Unit cost rs. 15.00 lakhs out of which Rs. 7.50 lakh subsidy and Rs. 7.50 lakh will be loaned. Loan amount per cent. Payback in 20 half-yearly instalments at interest rate of 6.
- Unit cost in Bengaluru City, Bangalore Rural, Chikkaballapur and Ramanagara districts is Rs. Increased to 20.00 lakhs.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must belong to Scheduled Caste sacraables and related castes
- Applicants should be landless agricultural labourerfamilies.
- If a caste certificate is submitted under the name Adi Karnataka, Adi Andra and Adi Dravida, a self-declaration certificate must be submitted by entering the original caste.
- Should be a resident of Karnataka state.
- Applicant/ any family dependent member shall not be in government/semi-government employment
Rules:
- Applicants should be selected by the selection committee.
- The annual income of the applicant’s family should be within the limit of Rs.1,50,000/- in rural areas and Rs.2,00,000/- in urban areas.
- If the sanctioned beneficiary is found ineligible, the sanction will be cancelled at any stage.
